An Introduction of BOSE ANC System

More and more cars are now equipped with active noise reduction function, especially for some American cars and Japanese cars. Will the noise be reduced with this system ? How does the system work?

The car with active noise reduction function comes from the ANC active noise reduction system developed by Bose. BOSE is the pioneer of active noise reduction technology. The principle is to collect the wave characteristics of noise first,  then calculate the reverse wave through  the built-in processing chip , and cancel it through the high reduction loudspeaker. Therefore, the necessary equipment of the active noise reduction system includes pickups, processing chips, and loudspeakers. Each part must be guaranteed with high quality to achieve the final effect, so the cost is higher than the traditional  non noise reduction equipment.

In addition, the purpose of BOSE ANC active noise reduction system is to reduce the dependence  of the automobile industry on physical noise reduction. After all, a large number of sound insulation materials are inevitable to increase  the body weight,  which will affect the power and fuel consumption as a result.
